Dear Kenwood Families,
It has been a wonderful week as we eased back into our daily school routines. Our brand-new cheerleading club got off to a fantastic start with tryouts led by Coach Natalie and Coach Maya, who did a marvelous job guiding our 4th and 5th graders through their practice sessions. The enthusiasm and energy from the students have been truly inspiring! Additionally, 1st quarter report cards will be sent out via email this week. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Read on for this week's key updates and upcoming events!

Winter Jacket Donations
Our school was fortunate to get 30 coats donated to our school from the annual fundraiser, the TK TOUGH Kickball Tournament, which raises money each year to donate coats/gloves locally. This was our 4th year putting on this event in honor of Tyler Karuzis (Barry’s brother) who passed away in 2018 in a motorcycle accident. Tyler was only 28 when he passed and he didn’t have a chance to have kids, but he loved family and helping people. Each year we honor his life by growing this tournament and it’s impact. This year we were blessed to donate 300 coats to schools in our area in cooperation with the Karuzis insurance Agency @ Country Financial
