Dear Kenwood Families,
As we are heading into spring break, I wanted to thank you for your support this past quarter. We appreciated getting a chance to see many of you last night and look forward to seeing you this morning for our parent conferences. I hope you have an enjoyable break with your family. School will be closed from March 17th - 21st and we will resume again on Monday, March 24th.
Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), March 25 - April 4
When we return from spring break, our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will be participating in the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR). These assessments test students' knowledge and skills in the areas of English Language Arts and Mathematics. The results of these assessments become available to parents in October of the following school year. As we prepare to take this test, please be sure your student is on time to school and is well rested to take these state assessments.
