Dear Kenwood Families,
Happy Friday! We are looking forward to meeting with you during our Parent Teacher conferences scheduled for Thursday, October 9th and Friday, October 10th. If you are still needing to schedule your conference be sure to reach out to your child’s teachers. The following week we will be on our fall break and school will resume on Oct 20th.
Building Evacuation Drill, Oct 6th
As part of our safety and security drills, schools across the district are conducting Building Evacuation Drills. Kenwood will be conducting our building evacuation drill on Oct 6th and we will be evacuating to our evacuation site, Centennial High School. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

Kenwood Cross Country Race, Oct. 8th
A beloved tradition at Kenwood is our Cross Country Races for our 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. We hope you can come out to cheer on our students as they participate in our cross country races. Our PE teacher, Mr. Bicknell has been working with our students during PE to prepare for these races. The races are scheduled as follows:
5th grade races : Girls 8:15, Boys 8:35
4th grade races : Girls 9:05, Boys 9:25
3rd grade races : Girls 9:55, Boys 10:15
2nd grade races : Girls 10:45, Boys 11:05
Scholastic Book Fair, Oct. 9th and 10th
The Scholastic Book Fair is returning to Kenwood! Our Fall fair will be held in the cafeteria during parent teacher conferences during these dates & times:
Thursday, October 9th: 3:00-7:00 pm
Friday, October 10th: 8:00-11:00 am
