Dear Kenwood Families,
Happy Snowy Friday! Thankfully we were able to have school in person today as we are finishing out our week. Hoping that you had safe travels today if you were commuting. This past week, we celebrated National Computer Science Week at Kenwood. Our students participated in many activities this week related to computer science as they learned binary code, created code for their own dance moves and learned about algorithms. Students also had a chance to program and interact with a variety of robots. Be sure to ask your child to share what they learned this week during computer science week.
Next week is our last week before the holiday break that will extend from December 22 through January 5 with students returning to school on Tuesday, January 6. Next week, we will be dismissing at 2:20pm on Thursday, December 18 and Friday, December 19.
