This past week we celebrated our 100 days of school with our Kindergarten students on Monday. Today, we are celebrating the Lunar New Year at Kenwood with assemblies this afternoon during the following times with a special presentation by our 3rd grade students. Parents are invited to join us during this time.

NAAPID Parent Involvement Day, Feb. 10th
Next week we are inviting parents to join us for our NAAPID day lunch on Tuesday, Feb. 10th. We look forward to your visit and participation at Kenwood. Please see the attached flyer for lunch times on this special day.
Star Students
This past Monday we recognized our February Star students for Citizenship, Academics, Most Improved and Star Conduct awards. The Star students for the month of February are:
Each year, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) requires schools to survey students (Grades 4-12), teachers, and families to gather feedback on their educational experiences in our district. This provides us with an opportunity to hear the voices of stakeholders about what we are doing well and where we can continue to strive for excellence. This year, instead of the 5 Essentials survey, we will be utilizing the Panorama platform to administer the required surveys. Families can access this survey link at the following address:
