Dear Kenwood Families,
This past week, the weather certainly played a role in our school day with our tornado hold-in place for our students and staff on Monday. I wanted to applaud our staff for their swift action and support of our students. I observed many teachers providing reassurance for our students during this stressful event. As we look ahead, we are thrilled to begin Teacher Appreciation Week next week. This is a special time to honor our educators who ignite curiosity and foster student growth every day. Please consider a way to share your appreciation with your child’s teacher with a note, card or just a simple thank you. Just a reminder that we have our early out dismissal on Monday at 12:50pm.
