Dear Kenwood Families,
This past week, our 5th grade students made the trek to Chicago for their field trip Maggie Daly Park and the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry. This was a fun trip enjoyed by all and a first for many students seeing Chicago with all its sights and sounds. Students enjoyed the Anne Frank exhibit, Mirror Maze and of course the Charter bus ride! A huge thanks to Mrs. Leverenz for organizing and planning this memorable trip and to our many chaperones.
Next week is our last full week of the school year and we are excited to recognize our 5th grade students with our recognition on Friday, May 22nd at 1:00pm on the Blacktop. We will be dismissing at 2:20pm on Friday. Our last day of school is Tuesday, May 26 and we will be celebrating our Carnival day with students and we have our dismissal at 2:20pm.
