Dear Kenwood Families,
Happy Friday! This past week we had much to celebrate as our quarter came to a close. We had our Kenwood PTA Star Race and we enjoyed seeing our students participating in this annual tradition. Thanks to all of our families who came out to cheer on our students. Our Kenwood PTA Star race was able to raise over $5000.00. Thank you for your donations! A huge thanks to Mr. Bicknell for helping to organize this event and to our PTA for providing snacks and volunteers.
We also had a fantastic time honoring Hispanic Heritage Month with special assemblies and delightful presentations by our fourth graders. On Wednesday evening, we were treated to a wonderful show by Mariachi Libertad. It was truly a joy celebrating together!
Fall Break, Oct. 12th through 16th
Just a reminder that we will be closed for Fall break next week. Students return to school next year on Monday, October 19th..
Kenwood Playground Community Build, Oct 30 - Nov 1
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join us for the Kenwood Playground Community Build! This special effort will allow us to restore our school play space following the fire earlier this summer. If you would like to lend a hand with this exciting project, please scan the QR code featured on the attached flyer to register or the QR Code below. We truly appreciate your support!
Have a great fall break!
Sincerely,
